Lena is such a special girl. She has won the hearts of many. She is the ruler of the herd, and everyone in the herd respects her. She had a beautiful filly two years ago, Colonel Kate Olena. Lena foaled on April 8, 2009. She had a beautiful red roan colt. He is really nice. We are very excited about this little guy!!!

This beautiful filly is out of our mare Lenas Touch Bec. She is going to turn a lot of heads when she walks into the show ring. We are very excited about this filly. She is so athletic, uses her back end and has a great natural slide. She has a great mind and has been so easy to work with. Kate has been saddled and she did great. She will start training in September and we can't wait for her to get going!
This Hickorys Smart
I have to say that this is Darin's favorite mare on the ranch. He loves the way this gal moves! Talk about a horse that is athletic!! We purchased Smartie from Dan and Christie Capik 2rqh.com.
She is an own granddaughter of Docs Hickory. This mare's granddam was an own daughter of Bueno Chex, and a 5 time futurity finalist, NRCHA Reserve Year End Hackamore Horse, Certificate of Ability in Cutting & producer of 2 AQHA Superhorses amongst other futurity winners. Smartie has already produced 2 foals, one a red roan and one 2006 sorrel gelding that is currently in reining training headed for the NRHA Futurity.
Smartie is bred to Shag and due to foal in April 2009. We are very excited to see how Smartie crosses with Shag. This should be one VERY athletic baby.
