This filly has been weaned, and talk about SMART. When you see this little gal move, all you can say is "Wow!" She can move in one direction, and in a split second, she is back in the other direction...what an athletic girl, and quick. She has been haltered, leads and loads in a trailer. She has been extremely easy to work with and loves attention.
This filly is bred extremely well. Her mother is a Mister Dual Pep and Just Plain Colonel. She is already showing lots of natural ability. She is low in the hocks, pivots on her back-end to turn and already puts her butt in the ground to stop. She REALLY loves to slide!! She does all of this without any effort. She is always in control. She is very talented. This little gal is going to be awesome!!! Darin couldn't wait to see this combination between Woopsie and Shag...and he is not disappointed one bit.

We call him the Mayor...he is so very funny. He is into everything!! He bugs everyone in the pasture and then when the mares have had enough and go to chase him, he runs to his mother. Lena is known as Judge Judy of the pasture...and NO ONE messes with her. So he knows this and gets away with so much, as the mares will not mess with him once he runs back to his mom. He has figured this out quick, and what a pest he has become. He has been so easy...we just go out and put a halter on him like we do our saddle horses...he will follow you anywhere.
Lena is loved by everyone at the Ranch, except for the other brood mares LOL...she is owned by our daughter Jessica. Everyone that sees this mare falls in love with her. She is a great mother. She produces the nicest foals. You can see one of her daughters, Kate on the Mares page. We know that this colt is going to be one flashy boy. Lena produces foals with a lot of natural ability...lots of slide and great brains. Congrats Jess!!!!
